District Minibus and Trailer
South Berkshire District owns a 17 seater Peugeot Minibus and a twin axle box trailer available for Scout Groups and other organisations to borrow.
Due to the design and build of our minibus it is able to be driven on a class B car licence under certain conditions. These conditions can be found here.
The minibus is equipped with a tow bar and can tow the district twin axle trailer or other similar or smaller trailers. Please note that to tow with our minibus you will require class D1+E entitlement on your licence.
The district trailer is available without the minibus and can be towed behind most vehicles, please note that you may need class B+E entitlement on your licence in some circumstances.
Please note you will be asked to confirm your licence entitlements prior to hiring.

Note - The minimum hire charge for non-Scouting organisations is one day @ £40 irrespective of the length of time hired.
