District Minibus and Trailer
South Berkshire District owns a 17 seater Peugeot Minibus and a twin axle box trailer available for Scout Groups and other organisations to borrow.
Due to the design and build of our minibus it is able to be driven on a class B car licence under certain conditions. These conditions can be found here.
The minibus is equipped with a tow bar and can tow the district twin axle trailer or other similar or smaller trailers. Please note that to tow with our minibus you will require class D1+E entitlement on your licence.
The district trailer is available without the minibus and can be towed behind most vehicles, please ensure that your vehicle is able to tow the weight of the trailer and that your insurance covers you for towing. South Berkshire District cannot be held liable for any damage to vehicles or licence/legal issues due to towing of the district trailer.
Please note you will be asked to confirm your licence entitlements prior to hiring.
